Good morning, Carla and all of my favorite brothers and sisters on OFF. I'm reporting to you from Indianapolis today. We are going to see the sun! I really do miss the sun here, we always have sunny days in Colorado. I hope to be able to get out for a walk today or ride the bike, something......As some of you know, I had a terrible time getting here. I'm sitting with my granddaughter for spring break. The baby is at daycare. We had "grandmother" pics taken at JCPenney's yesterday, so cute. I can't wait to show you, but I will just have to wait until April 10th. A big welcome to all of our new friends here, you are gonna be so in love with yourselves!
I must run, I'll having a terrible time keeping up with the two hour time difference here.......whewwww

Hi Carla and my OFF family:
Not much happening today. I'm off work again because I now work Tuesday through Saturday regularly (except for next week because I'm on vacation starting next Saturday, April 11, my birthday).
So I slept til 9:30 and had my faux AchievOne shakes (oh, Netrition is now selling them for a good price and only $4.95 shipping). Then I showered, fixed up my toe that had the ingrown nail removed and got dressed, went to the chiropractor to get adjusted ... I've been out of whack because of the surgical shoe screwing with my gait. So he adjusted me, then I went to Walgreens to get some vitamins since the prenatals are on long-term backorder and I don't want to take Flintstones chewables. I e-mailed Vitalady and she said to try Centrums ... she recommended something else from her stash, but I can't afford to order them right away, so I'll use these for now. They did have Optisource for post-bariatrics, but they were expensive and chewables, which I don't like ... get stuck in my teeth. I'd rather pop a pill. I'll order from Vitalady after I get some extra cash (and before the pay cut comes, if you know what I mean).
So now I'm home and no big plans for the day. Just hanging around the house and relaxing. No money to do anything, so just sitting and watching TV, maybe phoning a friend ... still want to talk to Margie.
Have a good day.

Hi All,
I'm home for lunch, then driving to Stockton for a meeting at the Children's Home. That's where children go that have behavior problems or mental illness that makes it impossible for them to function at public schools. We still test them and they still get services if they are needed. Yesterday I went shopping for flowers for my containers in my back and front yards. Everything is so beautiful right now- green and all other colors sprouting all around! I tried some Chinese food yesterday- that was not good.... Time to run! Have a fun day everyone!

Hi Carla and Friends
Busy weekend. Ethan visited from Sat. afternoon until Sun. evening. We couldn't believe how much he had grown in five weeks. We took him to lunch where his uncle GIII works. He and uncle GIII are best buds! Sun. was GIII's b'day, we celebrated Sat. evening when he got off work. We called our daughter so Ethan and Gabe could talk. They enjoyed talking on the phone last time Ethan visited. Yesterday we fishing. You really can't do any serious fishing with a 5 1/2 year old in the boat. I hooked a catfish and let him help reel it in, then caught a stingray that he help with. George had help losing two nice trout!
Gotta go, work calls

Hi everyone:
I'm just home from the hospital in Goshen, Ind......I went to be with my cousin's husband and family while she was in surgery. The surgery lasted almost 3 1/2 hrs......the surgeon came in and talked with us.....he said the cancer/tumor was pretty bad (he was very straight forward), he also removed her ovaries and some affected lymph nodes. She has a temporary colostomy and will probably have it for maybe six months. They are treating this very aggressively....she will have both chemo and radiation and he is giving her a 70% chance of a good outcome. She was in recovery when I left. I knew she wouldn't be up for too many visitors so I came home. My sister and I will go over on Thursday when she feels more like company.
It's been a long day (I worked this morning - got up at 5:45) so I'm tired as it's a pretty long drive over there.....
